Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast who was previously a member of both the Fierce 5 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly was the recipient of three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics, in London. In addition, she took home a bronze medal for the balance beam. It made her the first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to win the most medals. The gold medal was hers for team at the 2016 Olympics that was her as well as Gabby Douglas first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Also, she took home silver medals at the individual all-around and for floor exercise. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics from competitive gymnastics. She was also an athlete on two gold medal winning American team in gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor workout. Gymnastics was her first sport she began to learn in the year she turned two years of age. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She plans to make a career from fashion. Aly would like to broaden her leotards and socks collection. Fierce is her first book, which is due out later in the year.
